When springs turns into fall, or winter comes turns into spring, it’s always ushered in with rain. But we are in the middle of a season and it’s raining like the seasons are changing. Could it be that the season is changing, but not as we have ever seen?
I believe that we are in the middle of a season but it’s more spiritual, rather than nature based. We have witnessed so many strange events in the past few years, and as Christians we know that something is about to change.
Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” How many have we witnessed this in so many areas?
Jude 1:23 says, “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” We are coming into a season where we will see things we have never seen before. The things, relationships, traditions, and/or your ways, which are sins, that you are so proud of will become the things you hate the most, because it separated you from the love of God.
The season is changing because when God was quietly speaking to your heart you couldn’t hear, so now He has to scream. Some will even say in this season that God doesn’t exist, or he doesn’t love us, because if he did why would he allow these things to happen. I like to look at it as the Love of God giving you every chance to get it right.
Jobs 37:5 says, “After it his voice roars; he thunders with his majestic voice, and he does not restrain the lightings when his voice is heard. God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.”
I now understand why when I was a child and a storm came up my parents would say, “Be quiet, because the Lord is speaking.” But my question to you is, “Are you listening?”
